When you contact us using the online contact form, your personal data is transmitted over the Internet using SSL encryption. We secure our website and other systems using technical and organisational measures against the loss, destruction, access, modification or dissemination of your data by unauthorised parties. However, in spite of regular controls and modern technology, it is practically impossible to achieve 100% protection against all the risks present on the Internet (for example, when sending emails).
Objections to advertising emails
We hereby object to the use of contact details published in the mandatory imprint to send advertising and information materials which have not been expressly requested. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics tool provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files that are stored on your computer and enable your usage of the website to be analysed. The information about your usage of this website which is generated by the cookie (including your IP address, which is anonymised using the _anonymizeIp() method so that it can no longer be attributed to a connection) is transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the website, to create reports for the website operator about website traffic and also to provide additional services associated with the use of the website and the Internet. Google may also transfer this information to third parties, provided that this is required by law or the third parties process information on behalf of Google. Google will not link your IP address to other data of Google under any circumstances. You can stop cookies from being installed by adjusting your browser software settings; however, if you choose to do this, certain features of our website may not be available. You may object to the collection of data by Google Analytics with effect for the future by installing a deactivation add-on in your browser (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en).
We have concluded a contract on processing order data with the supplier. Your IP address is recorded but is quickly anonymised (e.g. by deleting the last 8 Bit). This means that only a rough localisation is possible. This data processing is done on the basis of the statutory provisions of § 96 para 3 Telecommunications Act and Art 6 para 1 letter a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) GDPR.
Our interest within the meaning of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is in improving our service and our online presence. Because our users’ privacy is important to us, user data is anonymised.
You can find further information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics and the options available to you under https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.
Use of script libraries (Google Webfonts and Font Awesome)
To present our content correctly and in a graphically appealing way on all kinds of browsers, this website uses script libraries and font libraries such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/) oder Font Awesome, Inc., (https://fontawesome.com/). Google Webfonts or Font Awesome icons are transferred to the cache of your browser to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Webfonts or refuses access, content will be displayed in a standard font.
Calling up script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library. Theoretically, it is possible that operators of such libraries collect data – although at this time it is unclear whether this is done or for what purpose.
You can find the library operator’s data protection guidelines here: https://policies.google.com/privacy/update?hl=en
